Born on March 29th, 1985. She was born in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). She has Mexican heritage, but is American as a national. Gerina has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina first began playing golf at the age of 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School for her higher education in high school. While in highschool, Gerina won her first prize at the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player who competed at the state level. She was enrolled at Texas's University of Texas, Texas in the academic year. During her senior years she took home every single tournament she competed in. While in her undergrad seasons, she won the Conference USA's player of the season and UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
