Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first few minutes. Aspen returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the 2nd. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major role. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following an intense back and forth battle among the pair of fighters, got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a majority verdict.
