Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing fiance JP and my wonderful Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. Most people know me via my Instagram @annephung, where I document my life - the highs, the lows and everything inbetween. My parents took me into America in the year 1990 when I was just one-and-a half. I wouldn't be sharing my life story today without my parents' efforts to work hard and make sacrifices. In the hope of having an improved life I was determined to try the best I could to please them, and was focused on achieving my goals. My life was set out as follows: I'd go to university, get work in a corporate as well as marry and then buy the house. I figured that was the epitome of success however, life has other plans to teach me what success meant. In 2013, I realized that I was not happy being at my corporate job. Status and money did inspire me. I thought I was wasting time for a paycheck. As I began to move toward a new direction in my life, I discovered that I was a personal trainer and my passion. I am a lover of exercise and enjoy working around people and helping those around me. It was in 2014 that I established my company which will mark the 7th anniversary of my company by 2021. It is rare to find an Asian woman in this business. It is my goal to be a positive influencer within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help individuals to be healthier and happier person by establishing an environment that is sustainable and meets their personal needs and goals. Additionally, I'm committed to empowering others so they can reach the goals they set, pursue their dreams and live the life you've always wanted to live. My career exploded as I experienced the greatest success in my entire life. But, my mom passed away just when my career took off. In Heaven she is now in peace after an 8-year battle against Scleroderma. However, I carry my Mom with me and dream of her daily. Life's lessons often go unnoticed however they are very beneficial. My mother's death affected me greatly and I am convinced that she offered me a second chance in life. She died on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. This was her moment to enter her next life. I got my second opportunity to live the life of a fulfilled and happy. The thing I'm feeling now at the age of 30 is a feeling of vitality and awareness. It's as if that I'm living my life, and not just existing. As I tell my story I hope my thoughts will resonate with yours. It is my wish to make you aware that you're never truly alone. You have the potential to accomplish anything that your heart desires. My hope is that you live life to the highest level and not have regrets when it comes to the final hours of your life. Death is our only certainty in our lives.
