The children were sleeping in the crib while I was strapped with a baby to my back. Ha! We were getting close to completing, however we were a long distance away. For furnishing the space it would be an enormous undertaking in terms of both time and funds. Also, I had to go out and shop for my most-loved items. When our home was furnished I couldn't put it down! In the market in town I was able to rent a tiny space, and also sold objects. Eventually, I had too many pieces to store in the available space. The house became a venue in which I held open houses. Up to 1000 visitors could see the items on the first floor, and then purchase the items. Growing Days is the result of all this. My company was flourishing, but my family was also growing. It was like I found the ideal balance between being a mum and starting my new venture. Growing Days just seemed to be the right fit. My precious Nora arrived in the year 2013, which was our 4th child. My company was doing well but I wanted a rest. I decided to step back and stay at home, with my kids. That was precisely the thing I needed. After a few months that my phone began to ring. Many people called me for help about home improvement or decorating. Most of them visited my home in my open houses for furniture. It didn't seem long until I was managing a full-scale home renovation company. It began with taking clients at a pace that I was at ease with. It would have probably laughed at me had I had told you that this was going to be the subject of an DIY Network tv series. In fact, I do amused when I think of it.
